01Introduction

This Privacy & Intelligence Policy explains how ViG (“ViG”, “Valor In Gaming”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, use our intelligence tools and Academy, or interact with the ViG community on Server 428.

By using the ViG platform you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree with this policy, please discontinue use of the platform. Where local law gives you additional rights, this policy is intended to operate alongside those rights, not to limit them.

02Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to run the platform, operate the community, and improve our tools. The categories below describe what we may collect:

• Account & recruitment data — the in-game name, server, Discord handle, and details you provide when you apply to ViG or create a commander profile.
• Usage data — pages viewed, tools used, time on page, and similar analytics that help us understand how the platform is used.
• Device & technical data — browser type, operating system, approximate region, and IP address, collected automatically by standard web technologies.
• Communications — messages you send us through forms, email, or Discord, and any attachments you choose to include.
• Tool inputs — information you enter into the AI Oracle, Rally Optimizer, Academy, or other interactive features.

03How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Operate, maintain, and secure the platform and community.
• Review recruitment applications and manage alliance membership.
• Provide and improve our intelligence tools, Academy content, and the AI Oracle.
• Respond to your questions, requests, and support enquiries.
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Command.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising profiling.

04Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage — for example, which guides are most read or which tools are most used. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally. You can limit analytics collection through your browser settings and any consent controls we provide.

05AI Oracle Data

The AI Oracle and related tools process the prompts and inputs you submit in order to generate a response. We may retain a limited record of these interactions to operate, debug, and improve the tools.

Do not submit passwords, payment details, or sensitive personal information to the Oracle. Treat Oracle output as tactical guidance, not a guarantee of in-game outcomes.

06Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site functioning, remember preferences, and measure performance. Essential cookies are required for the platform to work; optional cookies are used only where permitted.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser. Disabling some cookies may affect how parts of the platform function.

07Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information and to respond promptly to any incident.

08Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted third-party services — such as hosting, analytics, payment processing for the Armory, and the Discord platform — to operate ViG. These providers process information only as needed to deliver their service, and are expected to maintain appropriate safeguards. Their handling of your data is governed by their own privacy policies.

09Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take steps to delete or anonymise it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Request correction of inaccurate information.
• Request deletion of your information.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

11Children’s Privacy

The ViG platform is intended for users who meet the minimum age required to play Evony and to use our services in their region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children below that age. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

12International Users

ViG operates as a global community. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, where data-protection laws may differ. By using the platform, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, with appropriate safeguards where required.

13Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. When we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
